Green Tea
I was at a Chinese buffet the other night. It was great. It was one of our very rare nights out. However they did not serve green tea unless you ordered it. I think this is the first Chinese restaurant I have been to that does not automatically serve green tea.
I normally like having green tea with my Chinese food. Though, I did not really miss it this time. I was too busy eating all the different foods. They had dim sum, sushi, traditional Canadian Chinese food and more. The salad bar was huge. I could have had a wonderful meal just from the salad bar. The fruit section is my favorite though. I had a plate full of cherries and watermelon that I nibbled on through the entire meal.
There were two desert areas, one with eight different flavors of ice cream, the other was cakes, pies and more. The cake display had cheese cakes, mousse cakes, and pies. There was a green one that I thought might be mint. It turned out to be green tea mousse cake. I decided to give it a try. It was quite nice. I might even have it next time.
