Aromatherapy Oils |

I love the smell of fresh grapefruit. It makes me feel refreshed and invigorated. Since I can't always have fresh grapefruit around, I like to purchase aromatherapy oil as a substitute. I like to dab a little on the lightbulbs of my lamps. I also have found scented candles, sometimes even soy candles with the scent of grapefruit. I hear there is also a grapefruit nutritional supplement -- in the form of grapefruit extract. It can help with ailments such as allergies, sore throats, diarrhea and can be used as an ear and dental rinse.
I have learned that some of the therapeutic properties of grapefruit oil are antidepressant, antiseptic, aperitif, diuretic, disinfectant, can be a lymphatic stimulant, a tonic and can be anti-infectious. It not only positively affects your mood and revives the mind while stimulating the digestive system but can clear up congested oily skin and acne.
I wish I could find a gift basket filled to the brim with grapefruit aromatherapy oils, grapefruit scented candles, grapefruit soy candles and grapefruit based nutritional supplements. Not only would I have fresh breath, clean ears, a healthy body and mind but I would no longer suffer from melancholy. I would be so happy that I would buy better products in every aspect of my life, as sometimes I'm known to suffer from a mild case of shopoholism. Last week a friend of mine brought home a Sylvania projection screen TV. Another friend bought his wife a diamond necklace with non-matching sapphire earrings and a whole mess of stainless steel cookware (some were even the waterless cookware type). I was so upset that in this economy these people were spending in such a way, but then I lit one of my grapefruit scented candles and my jealousy melted away as the scent took me to a higher plane of consciousness. Thanks again to the great scent of grapefruit! I truly love the smell of fresh grapefruit! |
